“Gummy bear” implants provide a more lasting shape. But these implants need slightly longer incisions than regular silicone implants.
Silicone implants are FDA-approved for patients 22 and over.
Fat transfer to breasts (fat grafting)
Fat grafting is a similar procedure to lip fat injections. The fat transfer procedure involves removing fat via liposuction from other body parts and inject into your breasts.
Fat transfer may provide less reliable results and less uniform between the breasts. Generally, fat transfer may only increase the breasts by one cup.
Also, the fat may be reabsorbed into the body over time, yet some patients prefer them due to the natural look and feel.
Chest wall augmentation

During your second appointment with the doctor two weeks before the surgery, you will confirm the size you want to get. You will also be able to address any additional concerns with your doctor.
On the day of your procedure, we will place you under general anesthesia. The surgery, in general, takes about two hours. The incisions are usually done:
- Under your breast
- Around the nipple (areola) area
- In the armpit (axilla)
